Built-in BBQ Grill Issues We Commonly Address
We're all familiar with the perks of built-in grills. But only trained professionals can help you get back into the grilling game when yours stops working.
Here are some common issues we encounter during our built-in grill repair services:
- Low flame: This is quite common and typically a result of a faulty fuel line regulator.
- Flame not blue: If your flame is orange or yellow, there could be an issue with the control valves and venturi tubes.
- Uneven heat: There could be a blockage in one of the burner units.
- Too much smoke: You may have too much grease inside your grill, which means it requires a thorough cleaning.
When you choose Mr. Appliance as your grill repair service, an experienced technician will quickly diagnose the issue and confirm a service plan with you. We offer up-front pricing and the Neighborly Done Right Promise®.

Frequently Asked Questions
My grill ignitor is not working. What could be wrong?
If your ignitor isn't clicking, the battery may be dead, or you may have a failed igniter module that needs to be replaced.
What's wrong if my gas grill is not getting hot?
You may need to reset your fuel line regulator: Turn off your source of gas (propane or natural gas) and disconnect the hose to your grill. With the lid open, turn the burner knobs to high for a couple of minutes; then turn them off. Reconnect your hose to your gas source, and slowly turn on the gas. If this doesn't solve your issue, you may have clogs in your burner tubes. That's a problem best left to professionals like Mr. Appliance.
